PRODUCING PROCESS

The basic molding processes of FRP are as follows: hand lay-up molding process, pultrusion molding process, winding molding process, and compression molding process.

Pultrusion molding

Pultrusion molding is an automated production process that uses continuous traction of a traction device to make the untwisted glass fiber roving, felt and other reinforcing materials on the creel impregnated with glue, pass through a heated mold with a fixed cross-sectional shape, solidify and shape in the mold, and realize continuous demolding.

Hand lay-up molding

Hand lay-up molding is the earliest and most commonly used molding method in the production of resin-based composite materials. The hand lay-up molding process uses a resin mixture with a curing agent as the matrix and glass fiber and its fabric as the reinforcing material. It is a process method for manufacturing FRP products by manually laying and bonding the two together on a mold coated with a release agent.
